PRODUCTION PROCESS

To maintain the high standard of quality offered

The splits can be supplied trimmed, splitted and shaved to meet the needs and use of the leather.
The processes follow directly by our production are:

TRIMMING

Operation performed to select the split for thickness and final article of split

SPLITTING

Operation performed to separate the split from bottom split and also split in different thickness

SHAVING

Operation performed to give a uniform thickness to the splits

MEASURING

Measuring with precision electronic equipment

To guarantee a comprehensive service at all times, which may include providing sample processed leather on request.

  • WET BLUE SPLITS

    Inferior layer of the leather obtained after splitting
    WHOLE HIDE SPLITS: the selection is different on base of weight, thickness, origin and final use of product.
    DOUBLE BUTTS: article for footwear, belts, leather goods and automotive.
    CULATTA: article drop splits but without shoulder

  • WET BLUE BOTTOM SPLITS

    Article available in different selection, different size, weight and origin

  • WET BLUE SHOULDER SPLITS

    Article available in different thickness, size, weight and origin

  • WET BLUE BELLY SPLITS

    Selection A – Min. 15 sq ft

On base of customer needs and to meet every customer needs,
we produced crust/unfinished splits in different colours.
